Okay, I pretty much dislike Twilight with a passion now. I read it, not the best writing quality, but a good storyline, well until the end and New Moon. First off, the vampires are like seriously god-modding the whole time! For example:
1. You can't stab them because they're stone hard.
2. You can't rip them apart because they're too fast and strong. (Unless you are a werewolf)
3. You can't hurt them with anything
4. They're resistant to sliver (In most vampire legends, vamps are effected by sliver)
5. crosses and other holy objects do not work. (WHAT THE HELL!!?!?!?!??!! They're evil, and undead, what helps the living hurts the unliving!)
6. Super strength, speed, senses, and their own personal special powers (Lord, not even the Werewolves get something for themselves)

There is literally no way for a human to kill one, your only hope is a werewolf.

Bella: I always hated her from the beginning.

she's a crybaby, she's selfish and arrogant. Dumb as a rock too. I would have known right away Edward was a vampire, it wasn't bluntly obvious or anything...She's extremely ungrateful. If someone threw me a huge birthday party, I wouldn't bitch about it the whole time. I would be thanking them non stop. And, I would have went with Jacob. Like seriously, Jacob is fun, loving, and dedicated. Edward couldn't even make up his mind half the time.

Some of the lameness...

They have glittery skin? That’s the lamest reason I have ever heard to keep them out of the sun…like seriously? It contradicts what a vampire is… a soulless, heartless, EVIL, creature. The dictionary even agrees with me!

Dictionary.com says:

1. a preternatural being, commonly believed to be a reanimated corpse, that is said to suck the blood of sleeping persons at night.
2. (in Eastern European folklore) a corpse, animated by an undeparted soul or demon, that periodically leaves the grave and disturbs the living, until it is exhumed and impaled or burned.
3. a person who preys ruthlessly upon others; extortionist.
4. a woman who unscrupulously exploits, ruins, or degrades the men she seduces.
5. an actress noted for her roles as an unscrupulous seductress: the vampires of the silent movies.

Wow, Edward sounds like a winner to me!

Not only is he a pedo, but, he's dead. So that makes their relationship both pedophilia and necrophiliac. My limit with older guys is six years at the most. but 90 (or somewhere close) and 18? That's steep...and wrong. that's like 80 years.

Don't get me wrong, I like the refreshing aspects of the modern Vampire, but you in every legend you should at least keep SOME BASICS.

From studying vampires ((I have always had a twisted interest in the darkside of life)) I have learned that no matter where they come from in the world they have the same basic things about them:

*Pale
*evil
*feeds on HUMAN blood
*burned, killed, or afraid of anything HOLY and CHRISTIAN
*cannot walk on hallow ground (Churches)
*Cannot enter your house without permission
*can't stand to be in the same room as garlic (This came because Vampire bats will not bite you if you eat garlic.)
*undead
*killed in sunlight
*can be killed with a wooden stake through the heart. (or in the day time, you remove the heart from the corpse of said vampire and burn it)
*effected by sliver
*cold (because they're dead) but normal skin stregnth.
*can change into mist, a bat or wolf (I know, weird).

Yeah...very different from the pretty boys of Twilight, and cooler personally. They know what the hell they're doing.

I am acutally going to say something nice now. I Love Jacob!!
reasons:
1. he doesn't have a stick up his ass.
2. He knows what he wants and he goes for it!
3. He's fun!
4. protective, but not to the over-jealous-possessive way of Edward.
5. Dedicated! Edward was fickle.
6. He's alive, meaning babies are possible ((I'll get to this one later!))
7. He's a werewolf!
8. Personally, I would rather snuggle up to someone warm, soft, and cuddly than a stone cold, and rock hard, stiff person.
9. He's handy! He can fix cars! That's a MAN!
10. He's tall, dark, and handsome!
11. He's strong too, and fast!
12. sacrificing.

Bella can go with Edward, I'll take the one of the two that is actually a MAN.
